Week 5: November 5-November 11

Jordan helped me to figure out how to reference a value from another operator in Touch Designer. This is extremely helpful! This week I focused on interactivity. I tried out different channel operators such as keyboard and mouse. I am going to get Kinect. I’m starting to use scripts more this week. I met Greg Hermanovic, Markus Heckmann and Isabelle Rousset from Derivative, the company that made Touch Designer. They made a presentation to the Digital Media Peer2Peer Group at Communitech. I got some advice on assigning random colours to individual instances and using slider and container components.
